Best Places to live for African-Americans 2013 edition

Black-businessman-on-phone1

Almost 50% of black families in the D.C area make over $75k. THIS IS HUGE and I’m sure comparing to the other metros you can see why. Not only does the DMV already sport the highest median black family income but also the most black families making over $75k.

More likely than not this can be attributed to the high level of federal government jobs which start most applicants off at 55k. Also the amount of options in the DMV for living, school and work which support government and the regional economy far exceeds any regional economy in the U.S aside from New York of course but that is concentrated in the NYC. By far the DMV is the place to be for money making families.

Bottoming out is our lone wolf Youngstown and Milwaukee/Chattanooga. They are really becoming sad cases for black people and families especially. Only 15% of black families are making 75K plus.
